I'm Brian McLaughlin, and I am Mac Specialty Photo. I'm a native Oregonian, and I've enjoyed the Pacific Northwest outdoors for many years. Photography has been a great "excuse" to go out and experience the specialties of the Northwest.
So what does specialty photo mean? It can mean nearly anything! I enjoy the technical challenges of getting great action shots. High school sporting events, auto, boat and motorcycle racing, wind-surfing and kite-boarding in the Columbia Gorge all present some great photographic challenges. I've learned/developed working techniques for these types of challenges. (Unpredictable) animals are another photographic challenge, and I have a few tricks for them too.
If you're looking for a special shot -- a child coming up to bat in the big game or Bowser running the agility course - action shots of your spouse rock climbing or your nephew wake boarding -- I'm up for it.
I'm always open to consider new challenges. If you have something in mind that the average studio photographer probably wouldn't touch, let's talk!
